A mystery of American history

Ask any history buff to explain these facts. He probably can´t...

Abraham Lincoln was elected to the U.S. Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to the U.S. Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected U.S. President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected U.S. President in 1960.

Both were preoccupied with civil rights.
Both their wives lost kids while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot and killed on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in their heads.

Now it gets stranger...
Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were murdered by a person from the southern States.
Both were followed by Presidents from the southern States named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who followed Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who followed Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who murdered Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who murdered Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both murderers were known by three names.
Both murderers names contain 15 letters.

Hold on tight:
Lincoln was murdered in a theater named Ford.
Kennedy was murdered in a car named Lincoln, made by Ford.

Lincoln was shot in a theater. His murderer ran to hide in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse. His murderer ran to hide in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were both murdered BEFORE their trials.

Here´s the best part:


One week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, State of Maryland.
One week before Kennedy was shot, he was in Marilyn Monroe.
